Andrew Silverwood is a comedian, actor, performer and producer, currently living in London, UK.
His most notable performance to date is My First Ten Sexual Failures and Other Stories About Growing Up, which he wrote and has performed around Europe and Australia since 2012. the play is a critically acclaimed, triple international sell out and was noted as the Fringe Review number one thing to play to see at Barnstaple Fringe Theatrefest in June 2016.
As a stand-up comedian Andrew can be seen regulalry on stage in London, but has also done shows around the UK, Australia and in Sweden.
Andrew co directs and performs with James Grice in a partnership called Fragility, and the partenrship was the 2014 Expect the Unexpected Award winners at STOFF – Stockholm Fringe Festival.
He has also worked for the RHS, twice for Secret Cinema, features in a a new BFI short film, Love Life, and can be seen as the lead actor in the ENV music video, Your Love.
He has also partaken in research and development for Women Who Write Musicals, been a member of the Battersea Arts Centre Homegrown Producer scheme and lead workshops in the UK and abroad on performing, puppetry and physical theatre.
He graduated Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance in 2012 with a BA (Hons.) European Theatre Arts.
As well as Rose Bruford, Andrew trained at DAMU, the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Czech Republic and has trained on workshops with companies including Farma V Jeskyni, Frantic Assembly and Clout Theatre.
